With the boys in college, Becky begins to develop a case of empty nest syndrome. She convinces Jesse that the two should have another baby, and together, they adopt a little girl. They name their new daughter Pamela in memory of Jesse's sister. Although Stephanie is reluctant at first to give Jimmy a chance, in the end she finally admits her feelings for him, and they begin a relationship. That night at a party for Gina and Papouli's anniversary, after the procedures are reversed (including the backwards table walks), Jesse proposes to Becky – for the second time – and she accepts again, for real.

Joey and Danny, purchase a boat, and decide to christen their new vessel the "Papouli", in honor of their recently deceased patriarch. Jesse, who announces he's taking a trip to Greece to head a memorial for Papouli, loves the boat, and claims Papouli would've loved it too. Finally understands the point of Papouli's story was that sunglasses and slippers are not worth breaking up a friendship, and reconciles with a sympathetic Kimmy.
